Phase 01
The Brief
We'd just taken delivery of our brand new Iveco S Way — the largest double-bunk cab available, a heavy rigid platform built to carry Rollabooths across Australia. The problem: we needed to paint it ourselves, but our factory was already running at full capacity producing Rollabooths. We needed to design and build a truck booth that would physically fit inside our factory — without shutting down production for a single day.

Phase 02
CAD Design & Engineering
Before a single piece of steel was cut, the entire curtainside body was designed in CAD. Every section engineered to precision — the headboard, floor supports, rear columns, load-bearing curtains and locking mechanism. This is the Rollabooth way: design it perfectly on screen before touching the factory floor.

Phase 03
Chassis & Steel Fabrication
With the bare chassis positioned, the sub-frame build began. Floor supports at 360mm spacing, 5mm steel full-plate floor, and massive headboard construction. The forklift worked overtime manoeuvring heavy structural steel into position — all done inside the live factory, right alongside Rollabooth production.

Phase 04
Building the Truck Booth — In Our Own Factory
Here's where it gets interesting. To paint the S Way, we first had to build a truck-sized Rollabooth — one specifically dimensioned to fit our factory space without halting Rollabooth production. The booth frame went up, the exhaust plenum was connected, and the retractable liner system was installed. The factory stayed operational throughout.

Phase 05
Inside the Booth — Light, Space & Finish
The interior tells the whole Rollabooth story. Brilliant white reflective PVC liner. Integrated LED lighting delivering inspection-grade illumination across the full length of the truck body. Comfortable working space with room to move freely around the entire vehicle. This is what a professional paint environment looks like.

Phase 06
Body Complete — Ready to Roll
The curtainside body came together exactly as designed. Load-bearing curtain sides, rear barn doors, the full structural package. The S Way was transformed from a bare chassis into a purpose-built Rollabooth delivery platform — designed, engineered, fabricated, and painted entirely in-house.

The Completed S Way
The finished result. Rollabooth livery on the cab, orange curtainsider gleaming. The most capable delivery truck we've ever owned — and one we're incredibly proud of. Built entirely in-house, painted in our own Rollabooth truck booth, and now on the road delivering booths across Australia. Greg 'Boysee' will be adding his custom paint magic to the cab soon — watch this space.

The Booth Finds
Its Forever Home
After the S Way was painted, the truck booth was sold to one of our biggest advocates — a man who personally sold 6 Rollabooths to his places of work because he loved them so much. He's now installed it in his brand new business — B&M Designs in Rutherford NSW — and it's already producing stunning work. Read the full story.
